Coogee

A building that lives twice: a calm healthcare practice greeting the street, and a private residence above it, wrapped around a walled courtyard pool a few minutes from the beach. The practice entry sits in textured limestone under a floating canopy, and behind the street wall the courtyard becomes a resort, with an elevated pool in curved limestone and an outdoor kitchen for long coastal evenings. Location: Coogee, Sydney. Scope: architecture, interiors and practice fitout. Status: design visualisation, completed 2024. Materials: limestone, travertine, fluted joinery and brass.
